Instant Love!

Well, today I want to go all out and talk about my coffee affair with NesCafe Gold very openly! Yeah I know, it's that Instant Coffee shit and no true coffee lover would ever want to own up to the fact that they drink instant coffee (*aghast expressions from all my coffee lover friends will now follow*)! But yes, when you have no time to brew the beans or realise that you have run out of the decocotion right when you start boiling your water for that cup of coffee, instant coffee comes to your rescue.

My favorite from all those really bad instant coffees out there is the NesCafe Gold. Well rounded flavour, strong body and an amazing fragrance is what makes this coffee special. Every time I feel low, this coffee has sat by my side and made me feel better! By now everyone knows that coffee does to me what chocolates do to young teenage girls – sets my heart fluttering, gives me a warm hug....

After you taste NesCafe Gold, you will never go back to drinking your plain old instant coffees! In India we anyway have very limited choices available for off-the-shelf products – NesCafe or Bru! Reason why NesCafe Gold is better than Bru Gold is because Bru Gold does not have the strong and well-rounded body as its NesCafe counterpart. Both coffees claim to use a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans but you realise the difference in quality of beans while tasting NesCafe. NesCafe is stronger and smoother – just the way I like my coffee.

Tripping with Coffee

This time, I do not come up with memories! No, I have not run out of them! I am doing some serious thinking on where my relationship with coffee is headed. I realize that it’s time to discuss what we want from life! No, I am not breaking up with Coffee but am just looking at ways to spice up our relationship. After a lot of thought, I feel a trip together will help strengthen the relationship. Of course coffee was a part of all my previous trips but it was just a PART! This time, I would want to go only with Coffee and have no one disturb us and I have selected the perfect location for this trip – Melbourne! A lot of people would wonder why Melbourne! You will think Australia is a place for deep sea diving, seeing some awesome coral reef and even surfing in some of the best waves in the world but COFFEE? Well for all those who don’t know a lot about Melbourne, here is some reasoning into why I would take my first trip with coffee to Melbourne. Melbourne is known for its ...

Why Ramayan is the worst story ever!

So it’s been a while since I have been thinking about this and finally decided to pen down my thoughts. This began on the day of Dussesrah when I was busy getting celebratory/festive wishes on Whatsapp. I was thinking about the popular, shorter version of the story of Ramayan and how warped it is.  So Ram, playing the ideal son, decided to give up his kingdom keeping in mind the insecurities of his step-mother; which is cool. But, did he discuss it out with Sita first? No! He just played the perfect   son, making his parents proud. Poor Sita! She just heard the decision taken by her husband and like a good wife (who may or may not have wanted to escape living with her in-laws) she followed Ram into a life of self-exile. That wasn’t enough when Ram’s younger brother, Lakshman decided to follow him. Again, there’s no one knows of his wife Mandavi, who decided NOT to follow her husband into the forest and live in the kingdom with her new family. May be she thought l...

Claiming My Life Back

Depressed, disjointed, struggling, irritable, irrationally angry. How many of us identify with these words? How many people have come up to us and asked us why are we so irritated all the time? How many times have our parents told us "You used to be a happy child. What happened to you suddenly?" There are many times we do not even know what these people are talking about. Most of us keep saying "I'm not irritated" or "I am not angry, I'm just emphasizing my point". And this, my friend, is a common problem all across. Of course some of us are actually going through problems like a bad break up or a horrible boss at work or other emotional issues. If you know the issue, well and good. But for the rest, who are not going through anything substantial, there's a major problem. The problem starts with social media. The first thing that most of us do every single day is wake up with our alarm clocks (after snoozing it for a couple of...
