This time, I do not come up with memories! No, I have not
run out of them! I am doing some serious thinking on where my relationship with
coffee is headed. I realize that it’s time to discuss what we want from life!
No, I am not breaking up with Coffee but am just looking at ways to spice up
our relationship.
After a lot of thought, I feel a trip together will help
strengthen the relationship. Of course coffee was a part of all my previous
trips but it was just a PART! This time, I would want to go only with Coffee
and have no one disturb us and I have selected the perfect location for this
trip – Melbourne!
A lot of people would wonder why Melbourne! You will think
Australia is a place for deep sea diving, seeing some awesome coral reef and
even surfing in some of the best waves in the world but COFFEE? Well for all
those who don’t know a lot about Melbourne, here is some reasoning into why I
would take my first trip with coffee to Melbourne.
Melbourne is known for its Café Culture. It’s supposed to be
a place where little quiet café s light up quiet lanes and by-lanes. Buzzing
with caffeine energy, these cafés not only offer some of the best brews in the
world, they also offer some amazing food to accompany your rich cup of
coffilicious delight.
Victorians love their coffee so much that they organize
something called a Café Culture Walk which is basically coffee hopping. A group
of people come together and tour across the city for some brilliant coffee and
food. This tour may sound a little expensive (it costs $95 per adult which
roughly converts to Rs. 5500) but then, good things in life do not come cheap!
Early immigration movements and delightful laneways have
fostered a loyal café culture, with
nooks and crannies you'd pass by while wandering on the streets of Melbourne. These
walks help us witness the entrepreneurial spirit of Melbourne; from the days of
coffee palaces, pre-war market gardens, through to in-house roasters, and the
origin of coffee and the Café Culture of
Melbourne. They promise interactions with venue owners themselves of
impassioned ideas and interiors of a time gone by. The coffee is certainly
important but the food that goes with it is just as delectable. Macaroons and
little tastes before a lovely café lunch
to finish, and chat on where else to explore.
Amazing coffee, brilliant conversations, good food to
accompany it is all that you can ask for while on a vacation. I think it’s
perfect bliss! I am now looking forward to this trip with Coffee!
Well, if you seem to agree with me, it’s your time to visit
Melbourne NOW and do let me know when you are there. We may be able to catch up
over a cup of coffee!

Unique and Aromatic take on your Melbourne travel. :)
ReplyDeleteGood wishes.
Good coffee is always welcome... however, a cafe culture and creative blends/forms of coffee are two entirely different things.
ReplyDeleteThis post, though, was different from other posts and quite readable.
